The Settlements Coordinator plays a vital role within the Agent Services department, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of data exchanged between key stakeholders in the energy settlement industry. This position is central to maintaining SMSs compliance with industry standards and supporting the UK Governments Net Zero strategy by facilitating high-quality data flows. Operating in a fast-paced environment, the Settlements Coordinator is responsible for managing exceptions in industry data flows, interpreting complex datasets, and resolving a wide range of issues. A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills are essential to succeed in this role. By ensuring the integrity of settlement data, the role supports stakeholders in managing energy efficiently and contributes to our culture of continuous improvement and customer service excellence. Please note: You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm at Trydan House, Cardiff. Key responsibilities: Managing Data Flow Exceptions within Industry Standard SLAs alongside Customer contractual obligations Providing technical and administrative support Reporting on performance, exceptions, and resolutions Building and maintaining relationships with SMSs customers and third-party agents Working with the technical team to implement changes in systems and processes in line with SMSs culture of continuous improvements Any other duties as required To be considered for this role, we would love you to have: GSCE (or equivalent) in Maths & English Proficient in the Use of Microsoft office packages, especially Excel Excellent numerical reasoning and pattern recognition Able to organise and prioritise workload Working to deadlines Teamwork Problem solving & finding solutions Verbal and written communication Electricity Metering Industry and/or Data Industry Knowledge (not essential) LI-Hybrid
