Location: StonehouseJob Type: PermanentSalary: £24.00 per hourHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pmBenefits 25 days annual leave, increasing to 30 days with service, plus bank holidaysCompany pension starting at 9%Life assuranceOvertime paid at time and a halfOvertime available between 6:00am to 8:00am and 4:00pm to 6:00pmThe Role We are currently looking for an experienced CNC 3 & 5 Axis Miller to join a busy and well-established manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines with Mazatrol controls, machining precision components to extremely tight tolerances.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist who takes pride in high-quality engineering work and enjoys working in a precision-focused environment.Key Responsibilities Set, operate, and run CNC machining processes on 3 and 5-axis machining centresCarry out machine setups for products routed through the machining processMachine precision components to tight tolerancesProvide input and advice on fixtures, tooling, and machining processesTrain and support operators on machine operation and inspection standardsConduct self-inspection and complete quality documentation as requiredWork from engineering drawings, inspection plans, and shop floor documentationAccurately record production and inspection dataCarry out basic preventative machine maintenance in line with company proceduresSupport continuous improvement within the machining departmentSkills & Experience Required Previous experience as a CNC Setter/Operator within an engineering or manufacturing environmentStrong experience with 3 and 5-axis machining centresExperience working with Mazatrol controlsRecognised apprenticeship in machining or a related engineering discipline preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving skills and ability to use own initiativeExperience working to extremely tight tolerances (0.010mm)Positive and flexible attitude towards manufacturing processes and techniquesGood attendance and timekeeping recordReasonable standard of secondary educationIf you are a skilled CNC Miller looking for a stable permanent position with excellent benefits and overtime opportunities, we would like to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
