Our client is currently looking to recruit a highly motivated, efficient and experienced Legal Secretary, to provide secretarial support to their Family Law and Civil Litigation Professionals within their busy Court Department. Based in Aberdeen, the role will be on a maternity cover basis and will be fully office based. RESPONSIBILITIES: Preparing and processing legal documentation and forms, using case management systems and databases where applicable. Audio and copy typing. Diary management. Communicating with clients and third parties in a tactful and diplomatic manner. Document management and filing. Cash work and typing of accounts and fees. REQUIREMENTS: Preference will be given to candidates who are Legal Secretaries with demonstrable experience of working within Family Law and Civil Litigation. Excellent client relation, interpersonal and communication skills required. Applicants must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as the ability to function well under pressure and prioritise workload accordingly. Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, typing, as well as strong IT and administrative skills required
