Overview
A warm and welcoming family based in Islington, London, are seeking a caring and reliable nanny to join them from 27th April on a long‑term basis. The role involves caring for two young children aged 6 and nearly 4, providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where they can thrive.
Responsibilities
Monday to Friday, with working hours of 12:30pm to 6:30pm during term time, increasing to 8:30am to 6:30pm during school holidays.
Providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for the two children aged 6 and nearly 4.
Standard childcare duties: preparing healthy meals, making lunchboxes, taking care of children’s laundry, supporting dinner, bath time and evening routines.
During school holidays organising age‑appropriate activities, as well as the usual duties.
School pick‑ups, with the school located approximately a 20‑minute walk from the family home.
No heavy household duties beyond those related to the children, as a housekeeper is employed daily.
Occasional babysitting once or twice a month.
Qualifications & Requirements
Solid childcare experience preferred (minimum 2 years). Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid certificate required.
No driving required; a nanny who can accompany occasional travel to Paris, the South of France and skiing holidays would be highly desirable.
Must have a current enhanced DBS register and a 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid certificate.
Minimum of 2 professional referees, one of whom must be the current or last employer.
Professional insurance (nanny insurance) recommended.

Pay & Location
Salary: £22–£25 gross per hour (DOE), annualised to £43,000–£48,000 gross per annum.
