Family Safeguarding Practice moves the focus from monitoring compliance to engaging with families in a strengths-based way and producing meaningful change through Motivational Interviewing, a person-centred therapeutic way of practicing designed to harness and enhance readiness for change. The new workbook recording system allows Social Workers to return to the grass roots of Social Work practice and focuses on building relationships with children, young people and their families to achieve better outcomes for the whole family.
