Bally's Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a growing omni-channel presence. Team & Role
Our Sports web team is at an exciting point in its development, using React to deliver mobile-first, responsively designed websites and tools to create fully engaging experience for our players, globally.
We have great teams of enthusiastic and talented software and QA engineers and want more people like them. We’ll do our best to get out of your way so that you can get on with your job while providing encouragement, coaching and an Agile support team of Product Owners, Staff engineers, Project Managers and Engineering Leads. We aim to be developing solutions in vertical teams that enable Ballys to deliver high-quality features to our players, with a strong focus on quality, no matter their device or location.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver high-quality software features, taking ownership from conception to production.
* Collaborate closely with team members and other departments to contribute to the overall success of the product.
* Implement and deploy progressive technical practices, including continuous delivery and pipeline automation.
* Demonstrate a deep understanding of architectural concepts and identify opportunities to leverage bleeding-edge technologies effectively.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation, communicating your ideas and implementations effectively with teammates.
* Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and other technical challenges.
What we're looking for
* Experience in web technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML (We write everything in TypeScript)
* Experience with JavaScript frameworks, specifically React.
* Familiarity with REST and RESTful practices, as well as messaging technologies.
* Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Jasmine, or Mocha.
* Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration principles.
Desirable Experience (but Not Required)
* Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
* Experience with node.
* Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, etc.).
* Familiarity with automation test frameworks like Playwright.
* Test Driven Development (TDD) experience.
