We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team in Didcot, providing care and assistance to adults with learning disabilities and autism within their own homes.
What you’ll be doing:
Helping with everyday household routines and practical tasks
Encouraging independence and building life skills
Supporting individuals with social activities, outings, and community involvement
Working closely with colleagues as part of a supportive team
Delivering care in situations that may involve challenging behaviour
What we’re looking for:
Understanding of Health & Safety and Safeguarding Adults
Previous experience in social care is preferred
Training in moving and handling is an advantage
Knowledge of supporting individuals with challenging behaviour is desirable
Valid First Aid training is beneficial
