You will be joining a creative and practical‑focused Design & Technology department that values real‑world experience and encourages students to develop essential life skills through Food Technology. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Support students in developing cookery skills, nutritional understanding, and safe working practices. Prepare and manage practical lessons, maintaining a safe and organised kitchen environment. Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and enthusiasm for learning. Work collaboratively with department staff to support student progress. A welcoming environment where staff are valued and supported. What We’re Looking For Experience in Food Technology, catering, hospitality, or a related field (essential). Up‑to‑date food hygiene and safety certifications (essential). Experience working with young people or delivering training (desirable). Confidence leading practical lessons and managing a classroom environment. A positive, reliable, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
