The Role
This is a driving job with a hands-on component, requiring physical activity throughout the day. You will deliver fuels to local fuel depots, ensure stocks are topped up, and service domestic, agricultural and commercial customers. You will be the face of WCF when visiting refineries/terminals and when interacting with customers. You will need to think on your feet, work independently, and maintain high standards of safety, compliance and service. Overtime is a regular and expected part of the role, with pay at an enhanced rate during busy seasons. Flexibility and reliability are highly valued.
Responsibilities
* Deliver fuels to local depots and maintain stock levels for customers
* Represent WCF when visiting refineries/terminals and with customers
* Work independently with a focus on safety, compliance and service quality
* Perform overtime when required, eligible for enhanced rates
About You / Qualifications
* A qualified HGV Class 1 driver (ADR certificate with Class 3 in tanks is a strong advantage; full training will be provided for the right candidate)
* Driver CPC certified
* Practical, methodical and safety conscious
* Comfortable with manual work and physically demanding tasks
* Strong understanding of tachograph regulations
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
* Customer-focused with strong communication skills
* Willing to work flexible hours to support customer needs, especially in colder months
