Role Overview
As a Housing Disrepair Solicitor, you will:
* Provide expert advice on housing condition claims, housing management, and asset management issues
* Represent landlords in pre-action and contested disrepair claims
* Support clients with regulatory changes, compliance matters, and ombudsman enquiries
* Conduct advocacy in County Court hearings across a range of cases
* Manage your caseload efficiently while ensuring excellent client communication and service
* Mentor junior colleagues and provide guidance to support staff
* Contribute to business development initiatives and the growth of the practice
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who:
* Has proven experience in housing disrepair, housing management, and social housing law
* Is confident advising on property law, CPR, and regulatory compliance
* Can translate complex legal issues into clear, practical guidance for clients
* Has experience in mentoring or managing colleagues
* Demonstrates commercial awareness and the ability to manage a profitable caseload
* Is proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused in approach
* Possesses strong advocacy skills with experience in County Court proceedings
