Are you looking to develop your skills and build a career in paediatric dietetics? Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Band 5-6 developmental Dietitian or a Band 6 Senior Paediatric Dietitian to join our paediatric dietetics team at Wexham Park Hospital. This role offers the opportunity to work across a range of paediatric services, including inpatient and outpatient settings, with support from an experienced paediatric team. You will gain experience in general paediatrics as well as specialist areas, including paediatric diabetes, cystic fibrosis, neonatal and home enteral feeding.

* Provide nutritional assessment and dietetic management for paediatric patients across inpatient and outpatient settings
* Deliver weekly general paediatric outpatient clinics
* Support the nutritional management of patients with eating disorders within the inpatient setting
* Participate in virtual group education sessions for patients and families
* Triage referrals and prioritise workload appropriately
* Provide training for ward staff
* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives

* To devise an individualised dietetic management and/or treatment plan using clinical reasoning and make decisions regarding and formulate skills to utilise a range of treatment options in formulating a programme of care, carry out nutritional diagnosis and prescribe ACBS products for conditions where there are limited professional clinical guidelines
* To act as a dietetic resource for the speciality and associated clinical groups
* To provide complex outpatient clinics as required. The role requires a minimum of one outpatient clinic per week. The types of patients within this patient group include;
* To contribute to the service development, efficiency and safety in the dietetic department. The department is currently working on a quality improvement project within outpatients and you will have the opportunity to contribute towards this work.
* To be responsible for implementing the standards and policies within your speciality and/or department, and where applicable, propose changes to working practises.
* To support in the training of students on clinical placement including A, B and C placement students.
* To support the clinical supervision of junior colleagues, particularly within the speciality
* To contribute to the education of multidisciplinary groups, patients, families, carers and general public as appropriate
