We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Team Members to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming and efficient dining experience. Duties
* Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
* Assist with food preparation and presentation in accordance with food safety standards.
* Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, employing basic maths skills for billing purposes.
* Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any customer concerns promptly.
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all guests receive prompt service.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not essential.
* Strong understanding of food safety practices is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards customers.
* Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and billing.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
* A willingness to learn and adapt within a team-oriented atmosphere.
