Salary: Up to £29,000 p/a dependent on experience
Plus access to annual bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm

This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK’s largest private healthcare telemedicine company, Medica, based in Hastings, East Sussex. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable / Finance Assistant to support our growing finance team. This role is key to ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable function and assisting in the preparation of management accounts across our UK subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities:
* Process purchase order requests in NetSuite with appropriate authorisation
* Enter supplier invoices and credit notes into NetSuite
* Post bank transactions and perform bank reconciliations across all accounts
* Manage staff expenses and corporate credit card transactions, ensuring completeness and accuracy
* Compile monthly supplier payment runs in line with agreed terms
* Proactively manage the finance inbox in an organised and timely manner
* Prepare quarterly VAT returns for review
* Assist with journal preparation and posting
* Support external audit processes
* Perform general administrative tasks including filing, scanning, and answering calls
* Provide reports and information to finance colleagues as needed
* Undertake ad hoc tasks and projects as required
Requirements:
* Experience-based qualification is acceptable
* Strong numerical and organisational skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to prioritise and meet strict deadlines
* Excellent communication and diplomacy skills
* Professional telephone manner
