SEMH Behaviour Support Assistant – Durham This SEMH primary role in Newcastle is all about being that steady, trusted presence who helps children feel understood—not judged. You’ll be supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs who may struggle with anxiety, frustration, or attachment. It’s meaningful, hands-on work that genuinely changes lives.
