Principal Teacher of Home Economics - PKC

We are looking for an outstanding aspiring or experienced middle leader who can shape, develop and support this department to provide curricular and extracurricular excellence and equity for the young people of Perth Academy.
You will lead the Home Economics department, being responsible for all aspects of curriculum development, learning & teaching and the raising of attainment and achievement.
You will have the overview and strategic responsibility for the development of the department.
You will liaise effectively with home economic teachers, working collaboratively with others in the school to build a home economics department where young people can attain, achieve and build skills for life and work.
You will play an important role as a middle leader and will be expected to contribute to whole school improvement.
The anticipated start date for this post will be Monday 27 October .
