This food group have been growing fast, acquiring five businesses since 2020 and showing no signs of slowing down. With that scale comes complexity, and they now need someone who can bring clarity, control and real technical expertise as they continue expanding.
They’re looking for a Technical Services Manager who can take full ownership of customer-facing technical support, data accuracy and documentation across a busy, fast-moving site. You’ll be the go-to technical contact, handling queries, completing specs and supporting NPD and Commercial through launches and customer visits.
You’ll own all product technical data, keep systems and documentation tight, and make sure every spec hits internal and customer standards. You’ll stay on top of legislation, work with Supplier Assurance to maintain accuracy and traceability, and drive smarter, more efficient ways of working. That includes improving documentation flow, introducing better processes and delivering training that lifts technical capability across the site.
What You’ll Bring
* Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or similar
* 5+ years in Technical Services, Specifications, or Food Technical
* Strong grasp of labelling, legislation, and retailer requirements
* Proficiency with spec/tech systems (SpecPage, Hamilton Grant, etc.)
* High attention to detail, brilliant communication, and strong project management skills
