As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be performing maintenance and fitting tasks on heavy vehicles and equipment. You will be using calibrated tools, power assisted tools and will be carrying out torque tightening, so previous experience using this equipment is required. Our client is open to any background, providing you have experience in mechanical fitting or assembly. You will be working on a 2-week shift pattern, a mix of earlies and lates which follows as this: Week 1: Mon – Thurs 06:00 – 14:00, finishing at 13:30 on Fridays Week 2: Mon – Wed 14:00 – 00:30, finishing at 23:30 on Thursdays What do we need? Must complete a criminal convictions questionnaire as part of the application process Be able to pass a basic DBS Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test Be able to pass a full rail medical – this will include, eyesight, hearing, mobility, blood pressure, etc… Provide your Right to Work documents before deployment Happy to help mentality/attitude.
