What skills and experience we're looking for
Scarcroft Primary School is looking to appoint a caring and dedicated person to coordinate and lead all aspects of the school’s after school provision for pupils.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and provision for the pupils who attend the after school club. You will ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils, prepare and deliver engaging activities, and supervise the dedicated teams of staff caring for our pupils during this time.
You should have experience working with children or young people and hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification relevant to working within an after school club environment, as well as GCSEs in English and maths at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent. Additional qualifications in food hygiene and first aid are desirable; training will be provided if not already held. You must communicate effectively with pupils, parents/carers, and staff, and have experience planning and delivering engaging activities that make the school’s provision a warm, fun, and supportive environment.
