Finance Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: RochesterHours: 2 days per week (flexible)
An established school in Rochester is seeking a Finance Assistant to support its busy finance function on a part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking for flexible working within an education setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing and reconciling invoices accurately and efficiently
* Managing purchase orders and supplier payments
* Maintaining financial records in line with school procedures
* Supporting budget monitoring and financial reporting
* Liaising with staff and suppliers regarding financial queries
* Assisting with general finance administration as required
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a finance or accounts role
* Strong working knowledge of Sage accounting software
* Experience handling invoices and purchase ledger processes
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Strong communication skills
