As a Credit Controller, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Monitoring incoming payments and posting them to the companies accounting software (Sage). Providing monthly reconciliations between the ledgers of the company and the Invoice Discount Facility. Preparing ad hoc reports for the Invoice Discount Facility and assisting in regular audits. Issuing invoices to local authorities and ensuring prompt communication regarding overdue accounts via phone and email. Maintaining accurate records of all communications and transactions in the accounting system. Monitoring additional charges to be made to local authorities and third parties, including obtaining purchase orders. Assisting with year-end procedures and attaching historical purchase ledger invoices to the accounting software as needed. To thrive in this role, you should possess: Proficiency in accounting software to manage financial records effectively. Strong analytical skills to assess financial information and make informed decisions. Experience in customer service, enhancing your ability to communicate effectively with clients. Excellent attention to detail for accurate data entry and record keeping. Strong phone etiquette to maintain professionalism during client interactions.
