We're looking for caring, enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join a welcoming Post-16 provision in Knowsley that supports learners with disabilities and high needs. This setting provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where students aged 19 are encouraged to gain independence, develop life skills, and work towards meaningful qualifications and outcomes. As part of a dedicated team, you'll help deliver a curriculum focused on Preparation for Adulthood, supporting learners in both classroom-based and community settings to build confidence, communication, and employability skills. What You'll Be Doing: Supporting young adults with special educational needs and disabilities in lessons and daily activities. Encouraging independence and personal growth through tailored learning support. Assisting with life skills, community engagement, and vocational tasks. Working collaboratively with teachers and therapists to create a supportive learning environment. Providing pastoral and emotional support to ensure learners feel safe, valued, and motivated. What We're Looking For: A genuine passion for working with young people with additional needs. Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs (preferred but not essential). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
