JOB TITLE: Landlord and Compliance Specialist LOCATION: Taunton and Surrounding Area SALARY: Generous Day Rate, Call to Discuss DURATION: 2.5 months, with possible extension (phone number removed) The Employer: We are looking to fill the role of a Landlord and Compliance Specialist within a local Council; you will join the management team and assist with continuing to provide high quality service to the local community. The Role: Responsible for providing technical knowledge and expertise of property compliance Knowledge to include Water Safety, Damp & Mould, Asbestos, Rayon and other Property related issues Carrying out inspections of Councils housing stock, including structures and materials Generating compliance reports, including strategic ideas for any issues detected, analysing all data collected using various internal & external resources Being the lead of service across multiple sites, ensuring all works are completed successfully Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with current legislation and requirements Overseeing all resources are distributed effectively The Candidate needs: Experience in a similar role An excellent understanding of Policy and Legislation surrounding property compliance An extensive knowledge of property compliance regulatory requirements An up-to-date knowledge of the local Council’s Corporate Plan, Business Plan and Service Plan Great communication skills An up-to-date DBS A clean Driving Licence Summary: This is a Temp, full time role, working a 37 hour week over 5 days The role requires a satisfactory Basic DBS check.
