What is the job role?
We are looking for a Business Intelligence and Insight Analyst to join the Performance and Insight Team supporting Adult Social Care Commissioning and Public Health Services. You will be working withing a very busy, innovative, and forward-thinking team that works together with Adult Services to bring positive change to the lives of people in the city.
All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. We are currently not offering sponsorship for this role.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Knowledge of Adult Social Care Commissioning, Public Health and related reporting systems and performance frameworks
2. Research, data analysis, and ICT skills, including the ability to extract, interpret, and present complex data clearly
3. Ability to use BI tools such as Power BI and SQL
4. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
5. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
6. Experience working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals
7. Experience in a similar analytical or performance reporting role (local authority experience is preferable)
8. A relevant degree or equivalent vocational experience in a data, research, or analytical field

Interview date(s): 17 and 20 April
Prior to the panel interview, candidates will also complete a brief phone interview, which will be scheduled between 9,10,13th of April. If successful at this stage candidates will be invited to the in person interview and will need to complete a practical test prior to that.
