Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner (Ref: 0017ZA)
Ready to use your Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner (MHWP) skills to make a real difference? We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team at WithYou in this key role for our service.
Job responsibilities
* Provide crucial, evidence-based wellbeing-focused interventions to support service users with complex mental health presentations.
* Contribute to recovery plans and work on key areas such as managing emotions, improving sleep, and building confidence.
* Be part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with Recovery Workers and other health providers to ensure continuity of care.
* Engage with service users and their families to develop strengths-based, outcome-focused care plans.
* Receive regular supervision from a qualified professional (e.g., an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist or a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist) to support ongoing development and high-quality care.

Role specifics

Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree (2:2) in any subject
* Successful completion of MHWP certificate or postgraduate certificate training covering the national curriculum for Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioners
Experience
* Experience working as part of a team
* Experience analysing and communicating complex information verbally and in writing
* Ability to establish and maintain empathic, supportive relationships with people in distress or cognitive impairment, and with families and carers
* Proficiency with IT to collect, collate and report on client progression
Essential information
