About the Role
We’re seeking a strategic Sales and Operations Planning Manager to lead the development and implementation of a master production schedule and capacity planning process. You’ll work closely with teams across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, R&D, and Commercial to ensure efficient production output, optimizing resources, and meeting both internal and external demand.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead sales forecast development, factoring in demand, market opportunities, and growth initiatives.
* Analyse capacity and resource availability for short- and mid-term planning.
* Maintain detailed production schedules (0-6 weeks), adjusting as needed.
* Collaborate with supply chain to ensure material availability and inventory control.
* Monitor KPIs, including output, efficiency, and delivery.
* Resolve scheduling and production challenges, ensuring smooth operations.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
* Prepare regular updates on production status and planning metrics.
* Foster communication across planning, sales, operations, and logistics teams.
* Contribute to ERP systems and planning tools improvement.
* Promote a collaborative, inclusive team culture and focus on health and safety.

Skills & experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
* Certifications like CPIM are advantageous.
* Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and planning software/ERP tools; familiarity with Business Central is a bonus.
* Passion for planning, scheduling, and process improvement.
* Experience in team leadership or cross-functional coordination is a plus.
