We’re hiring a Senior AI Engineer to help build and scale production-grade AI systems used by developers worldwide.
This is a hands-on role focused on shipping reliable AI features, architecting agent systems, and solving real-world product challenges — not research or experimentation in isolation.
You’ll play a key role in evolving an existing AI platform to deliver high accuracy, strong reliability, and scalable performance.
The Role
As a Senior AI Engineer, you will:
* Design and build robust AI agents and AI-powered product features
* Architect multi-agent systems and orchestration patterns
* Develop backend services and APIs supporting AI capabilities
* Improve system accuracy through evaluation frameworks and iteration
* Build infrastructure for monitoring, tracing, logging, and observability
* Implement safeguards for AI security and reliability
* Explore and integrate new models, tools, and techniques
You’ll also collaborate closely with product, design, and users to ensure solutions solve real problems.
What We’re Looking For
Core Experience
* Proven track record delivering production AI systems (not just prototypes)
* Experience designing complex AI workflows:
* Agents
* Chat experiences
* Classifiers
* Multi-step reasoning systems
* Strong backend engineering skills with TypeScript / Node.js
* Experience building AI APIs (REST, MCP, or similar)
AI & Systems Knowledge
* Familiarity with multiple AI providers and model evaluation
* Understanding of tradeoffs between models and architectures
* Experience scaling AI features with reliability in mind
* Strong infrastructure and observability mindset
Ways of Working
* Pragmatic approach balancing speed and quality
* Strong communication skills in async environments
* Comfortable working cross-functionally

* Your background is purely research or data science focused
* Your experience is limited to prompt engineering alone
