Mechanical Supervisor / Site Manager – Major Multi-Phase Residential Development – Bristol
£250 – £300 per day CIS (depending on experience)
An established M&E contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager / Mechanical Supervisor to join their team on a landmark £25m residential scheme in Filton, Bristol. This significant new-build development is just coming out of the ground, comprising several towers with multiple phases planned, offering the potential for 15+ years of ongoing work.
The Role
In this position, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient management of mechanical services installations on site. Working closely with project managers and electrical supervisors, you will coordinate delivery to programme targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Supervising and coordinating mechanical installations across residential towers
*
Managing subcontractors, labour, materials, and logistics
*
Leading site inductions, toolbox talks, and enforcing HSE compliance
*
Monitoring progress and reporting to the project management team
*
Overseeing snagging, commissioning preparation, and handover processes
*
Supporting site operations to ensure smooth delivery of each phase
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

5+ years’ experience in a similar Site Manager or Mechanical Supervisor role on M&E residential projects
*
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services installations, including heating, ventilation, domestic water, and public health systems
*
A proven track record of managing site activities safely and efficiently
*
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
*
A proactive and organised approach to juggling priorities on complex projects
