Job Summary

Open to location, but the successful candidate will ideally be based in Lancashire, with travel required around the county.


This role is part time - 18.75 hours per week.

Salary range - £13,250 - £15,750


As the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) Assurance & Compliance Officer (Fidelity Officer), you will be responsible for ensuring Fidelity is understood and fully embedded daily into the Connect to Work program, and that it is measured and monitored accurately.


It is critical to the success SEQF is aligned with evidence-based practices to maximise effectiveness and reliability.


Your role as the Fidelity Officer will ensure that the programme is delivered in strict adherence to the model's established principles and standards. This role responsibility is to ensure the programme achieves high-quality outcomes for service users, maintains alignment with evidence-based practices, and complies with the standards set by the relevant framework Fidelity Scale or SEQF guidelines.

The development and strict control of monitoring systems and self-assessment reports is key to the success of this role, as well as ensuring timely returns and completions of required documentation. Retention of the information for audit will also form part of the role requirement.

Main Responsibilities

Ensuring Fidelity to the SEQF Model

Monitor adherence to the core principles and standards of the SEQF model, such as:

* Competitive and integrated employment as the primary goal.
* Person-centred, strengths-based approaches.
* Rapid job search and placement.
* Integration of employment support with health and social care services.
* Ongoing and individualised support for service users.
* Ensure that all team members are working within the guidelines of the supported employment model


Auditing & Governance: Responsible for supporting during internal and external audit processes for the SEQF This includes providing relevant supporting information and documentation.

Internal Stakeholders: To provide ongoing training to the wider Operational Team including refresher training, service updates and upskilling areas requiring improvements.

Policies and Procedures: Comply with all Maximus policies and procedures, demonstrating a clear understanding of the company values. As a representative of Maximus in a client facing delivery team, ensure you display these values in your day-to-day role.

Continuous Improvements and Best Practice: Participate in Internal Forums to share best practises and resources. Share your findings on performance to ensure that appropriate updates in training material can be considered.

Experience Required

· Previous Quality & Contracts experience, delivering employability and / or skill compliant services ideally to a relevant customer group.

· A strong understanding of the Fidelity Scale or SEQF standards and principles.

· Experience conducting quality assurance reviews, audits, or fidelity assessments, ideally in a supported employment or related programme.

· Experience or training, coaching, or mentoring to staff.

* Ability to support staff in implementing evidence-based practices and making improvements.
* Proven experience building and managing relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, such as employers, funders, healthcare professionals, and community organisations.
* Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic support and achieve programme goals.
* Experience collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to monitor programme outcomes and inform decision-making.
* Experience producing detailed reports for stakeholders, including funders, commissioners, or external auditors.
* Excellent verbal communication skills to provide clear, constructive feedback and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholder
* Ability to communicate complex information (e.g., fidelity metrics or recommendations) in a clear and accessible manner to staff and external stakeholders
* Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, employers, funders, and auditors.
* Motivates and inspires staff to uphold and improve fidelity to SEQF principles.
* Strong advocacy skills to promote the importance of fidelity and evidence-based practices within the team and to external stakeholders.
* Ability to influence decision-making processes and encourage buy-in from all stakeholders for quality improvement initiatives.

Desirable

* Previous experience working directly with individuals with barriers to employment, such as mental health conditions, disabilities, long-term unemployment, or other challenges


Travel requirements

Be able to travel independently throughout contract area:

- to support participants in their local area,

- be able to visit employer sites and provide support to all stakeholders.

Attend team meetings/organisational events.
