The school values its staff and is looking for a flexible and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to support pupils across different age groups within the school. The specific year group will be determined based on both your experience and the school’s needs, so flexibility is key.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2 (age group to be confirmed)
* Assist with classroom preparation, small group interventions, and 1:1 support where needed
* Contribute to creating a safe and engaging learning environment
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils’ progress
What We’re Looking For:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Flexibility to work across a range of age groups
* Experience supporting children in a primary school setting
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive, positive, and patient approach
* Driver’s licence and own transport preferable (but not essential)
Compliance Requirements:
* Candidates must be willing to register with Cover People UK
* Hold a valid DBS on the update service, or be willing to complete a new DBS application through Cover People UK
