Job summary
The Children in Care team provides high-quality proactive healthcare to children and young people to enhance their health and wellbeing. This statutory service is delivered by a small, multidisciplinary team that collaborates closely with North Tyneside and Northumberland local authorities and integrated care boards.
The team offers high standards of clinical care and assessments to address health inequalities and promote a healthy lifestyle for all children in care.
We seek a candidate who can communicate and collaborate effectively with young people, maintaining emotional resilience and a child-centred approach when working with vulnerable children and young people. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills are essential, as increasing engagement through creative health initiatives is vital.
