Occupational Therapist Assistant
Join Elysium Healthcare as an Occupational Therapist Assistant and support patients with mental health needs at Wellesley Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist Occupational Therapists, nurses and multidisciplinary team staff in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual care plans.
* Support service users to achieve their goals and access appropriate services.
* Maintain accurate records in the healthcare records system.
* Deliver structured activities and therapeutic interventions under supervision.
* Build one‑to‑one relationships to encourage participation and empower recovery.
* Contribute to assessment, monitoring, evaluation and modification of therapeutic activities.
Qualifications & Skills
* GCSE/O‑Levels (A‑C) or a relevant NVQ Level 2.
* Experience in a similar environment, particularly mental health.
* Clear verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Location & Hours
Wellesley Hospital, Westpark 26, Chelston, Wellington, Somerset, TA21 9FF. Full‑time position.
