The opportunity
Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an Assistant Accountant to come and join the finance team at 2plan wealth management. This is hybrid role with one day per week in our Leeds office.

1. Salary -£30,000 to £35,000
2. Bonus scheme - on target bonus –7.5%

Key Accountabilities:
9. Assist with processing commission and fee incomes
10. Allocate income received to business submissions
11. Investigate un allocated transactions
12. Maintain accurate and timely Financial records
13. Support the preparation of month end reporting
14. Support the Management Accountant and Finance Director
15. Contribution to the process definition and policy decisions
16. Promote positive customer relationships
17. Demonstrate flexibility by responding to internal customer requests in a positive and timely manner
What will you need to succeed?
18. Some established Finance experience, ideally from within a Financial Services environment.
19. Knowledge of financial services legislation, regulation and accounts and an understanding of VAT would be ideal.
20. Professional manner; enthusiastic and positive attitude
21. Good eye for detail, ability to work with large amounts of data in a timely but accurate manner
22. Flexible attitude; willing to support team members with cover and assistance
23. Able to build relationships with other business areas and external stakeholders
24. Numerate with strong analytical skills; strong excel skills
25. Competent time management skills; able to prioritise, resource, and plan workload; willing to take initiative.
