JOB TITLE: Lead Quality Engineer
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, involving at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our offices.

Join us as a Lead Quality Engineer, where you'll use your technical skills to support the delivery of quality software solutions into production. You'll be challenged, motivated, mentored, and supported to develop your skills and bring forward the best testing solutions.
You'll need technical literacy, experience in automated/manual testing, eagerness to learn, strong communication skills, and a focus on quality services. The role requires coordination with multiple third-party and LBG teams, focusing on quality and standard methodology alignment. A willingness to learn on the job is essential.
Work alongside other Quality Engineers to enhance their skills and experience, providing support, mentoring, and coaching to ensure the future of engineering within LBG remains strong.

What you'll need
Technical:
* Experience creating and implementing Quality Engineering strategies with an Automation First approach where appropriate.
* Strong skills using tooling like JIRA, X-Ray, Confluence.
* Knowledge of FNZ CSP application to investigate issues and improve test delivery processes.
* Understanding of Test Data provisioning within CSP and managing test environments.
* Experience with DevOps principles (CI/CD) and tools like Jenkins, Git, SonarQube.
* Knowledge of current automation trends and tooling to improve automation suites.
* Experience with Playwright / Typescript framework for designing and implementing tests.
* Experience with Defect Management, Incident Management, Root Cause Analysis, working with JIRA.
* ISTQB Foundation and Advanced Certifications or willingness to pursue them.
Change Delivery and Non-Technical:
* Experience in Pensions, Insurance, and Banking domains, especially managing change on the FNZ platform.
* Familiarity with agile change methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
* Ability to work in fast-paced, changing environments.
* Expertise in Test strategy, planning, estimation, impact analysis, and various testing types.
* Proven track record in End-to-End Test Management and leading QA teams.
* Ability to work with multiple teams across different systems and data environments.
* Proven coaching and mentoring skills for test engineers.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and business writing skills.
* Experience in technical writing for test plans and reports.
