Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant : Long:Term Role

Position Details

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (Experience Essential)

Location: Horley

Contract: Long:Term, Fixed:Term

Working Pattern: Full:Time (Monday to Friday)

Hours: 8:30 AM : 3:30 PM
*

Pay: Competitive Daily Rate



The Role: Focused SEN Support



You will be a vital part of the classroom team, assisting teachers and directly supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your primary focus will be creating a positive, nurturing, and fully inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Key Duties Include:

*

Providing tailored one:to:one or small:group support to students with various SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH).
*

Assisting the teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
*

Collaborating closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to ensure consistency of care.
*

Fostering positive social and emotional development and managing classroom behavior.



Candidate Profile
