Asprey London Limited has an opportunity for an experienced Silversmith to join their Silver Workshop.
Asprey have a long-established bespoke service, which ensures that interesting and challenging commissions often pass through the workshops.
About the Job
The Silversmith is responsible for producing items of exceptional standard in both precious and non-precious metals for Retail, Corporate and Export.
Main Responsibilities
* Producing and repairing silver, including stock items, bespoke items, objet d’art and trophies, to an exceptional standard
* Liaise with Polishers, Gilders and Management to ensure production deadlines are met and any issues or delays are communicated
* Quality control of finished products to ensure our expected standards are maintained
* To ensure all tools and equipment are effectively maintained and that the workshop is tidy and safety procedures are followed
* Ensure effective use of materials and minimise any waste
Key Skills / Experience Required
* Exceptional silversmithing skills (10 years+ experience)
* Read and understand technical drawings
* Problem solve in the construction of items
* Teamwork and good communication skills
* An ability to prioritise work effectively without compromising on quality
