We have an exciting opportunity for a Streetworks Root Cause Analyst to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract, supporting delivery across the Anglian Water Alliance. This is a key role working closely with our delivery partners, helping to ensure works are carried out safely, compliantly and to the highest standards.
You’ll play a vital part in identifying and understanding the root causes behind Streetworks non-compliance, helping to reduce risk, avoid penalties and drive continuous improvement across the business.
Here are some of the activities you will be involved in…
1. Carrying out detailed root cause analysis on Fixed Penalty Notices, overruns and defect charges to identify underlying issues
2. Reviewing and verifying charges and payments related to Streetworks activity, ensuring accuracy and compliance
3. Working with operational, commercial and supply chain teams to address non-compliance and reduce repeat issues
4. Producing reports and analysing data to highlight trends, risks and opportunities for improvement
5. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring data is captured and reported effectively
6. Supporting the recovery of costs through collaboration with commercial teams and supply chain partners
7. Acting as a key link between internal teams, clients and external stakeholders including Highway Authorities
8. Driving improvements in processes, controls and overall Streetworks performance
We would love to hear from you if…
You have a good understanding of Streetworks legislation, including NRSWA and the Traffic Management Act, and are confident applying this knowledge in an operational environment.
You’ll have experience working with Streetworks systems and be comfortable analysing data, identifying trends and producing clear, meaningful reports. Strong Excel skills are essential.
You’ll be highly organised, detail-focused and methodical in your approach, with the ability to investigate issues thoroughly and identify true root causes rather than surface-level problems.
Strong communication skills are key, as you’ll be working with a wide range of stakeholders across the business and supply chain, supporting collaboration and driving improvements.
Experience within utilities or infrastructure would be advantageous, along with exposure to systems such as Street Manager, SAP or similar.
