Adult & Paediatric Crisis Worker – Derby – Bank
Location: Millfield House SARC, Derby
Salary: Retainer rates £30.56 per 8‑hour shift Monday‑Saturday, £40.24 Saturday‑Monday. Attendance payment £15.85 per hour for a minimum of 3 hours per case.
Shift patterns: 24/7 rota coverage, 365/6 days per year.
About the role: The Crisis Worker provides dedicated support to victims of sexual assault, acting as an advocate during forensic and care pathways.
Key Responsibilities
* 1st point of contact for service users.
* Support service users and families visiting the centre, including preparation and assistance in collecting forensic evidence.
* Ensure high standard of DNA anti‑contamination between forensic cases (cleaning).
* Assist with management of service user pathway and liaise with other agencies.
* Act as an advocate during the patient’s time in the SARC.
* Be a key player within the SARC team and wider company network.
Essential Skills
* IT skills and basic administration.
* Experience in a supportive or customer‑focused environment.
* Kind, caring nature.
* Knowledge and understanding of confidentiality.

* UK driving licence required; vehicle access may be required across SARC's.
* Advanced DBS and Level 2 Police vetting required.
