Overview
We are looking for a full stack engineer to help build and scale a new digital investment service, delivered through strategic partnerships with digital investment platforms. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technologist with a passion for building high-quality products, a strong track record in platform scalability, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining highly performant API-driven web applications on our stack (Angular, React, SASS, Java SpringBoot, Mulesoft). You will design and implement REST APIs to industry/company standards and collaborate with product design to develop and iterate on user interfaces for financial data. You will interact with engineering across the organization to ensure consistency in engineering practices and foster idea exchange. We have development centers in Atlanta, Houston, New York City and India, and collaboration across a global organization is a key skill. You will participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., daily standup, release and sprint planning, demos, scrum of scrums).
Responsibilities include:
* Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain highly performant api-driven web applications on our stack (Angular, React, SASS, Java SpringBoot, Mulesoft).
* Design and implement REST APIs to industry/company standards.
* Work with product design to develop and iterate on user interfaces for financial data.
* Interact with engineering members across the organization to ensure consistency in engineering practices and foster active exchange of ideas.
* Collaborate across global development centers (Atlanta, Houston, New York City and India).
* Perform peer code reviews. Review performance, security and flexibility of the code.
* Participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., daily standup, release and sprint planning, demos, scrum of scrums).
Qualifications:
* Proven years experience in front-end frameworks, such as Angular and React.
* Proven years experience in back-end technologies, such as Node.JS, ExpressJS, or Java Springboot.
* Experience with Mulesoft.
* Experience with core AWS services.
* Experience working in an Agile team and environment.
* Familiarity with software engineering support systems and tools, such as Git, Jenkins, Bamboo, Gulp, Bower, Maven, Log4j.
* Familiar with SSO solutions, such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID a plus.
* Knowledge of the Financial Services industry a plus.
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* Self-motivated. Capable of working with little or no supervision.
