Commercial Director

We are supporting a well established manufacturing business in the appointment of a Commercial Director to lead and execute the commercial strategy across sales, pricing, margin, and customer development.
This is a senior leadership role operating at board level and playing a key role in driving profitable growth.
The role
As Commercial Director, you will:
* Own and deliver the commercial strategy aligned to overall business objectives
* Lead sales, key accounts, pricing, and commercial performance across the business
* Drive revenue growth while protecting and improving margins
* Oversee contract negotiations with major customers and suppliers
* Work closely with Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure commercial decisions are operationally and financially sound
* Develop and a commercial team
* Provide clear commercial insight and reporting to the Board
About you
You will be:
* An experienced Commercial Director / Sales Director from a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Comfortable operating at board level
* Commercially sharp, data led, and margin focused
* Experienced in complex pricing, contract negotiation, and customer management
* A strong people leader with the gravitas to influence cross functionally
* Pragmatic, hands on, and comfortable driving change
