An award-winning building contractor is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee day-to-day delivery of civil engineering works on live construction projects in Scotland, ensuring safe, high-quality and on-programme delivery in line with company standards and client expectations. Key responsibilities Supervise and coordinate civil works on site (earthworks, roads, drainage, concrete structures and associated infrastructure) to meet programme, quality and safety requirements. Lead and direct site operatives and subcontractors, holding daily briefings, allocating labour and monitoring productivity against targets. Ensure full compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation, RAMS and company procedures, carrying out regular inspections and addressing any non-conformances. Monitor workmanship and material quality, undertake checks and inspections, and ensure works are completed to specification and drawings. Support short-term planning and sequencing of works, including input into lookahead programmes, method statements and resource planning.
