Job Title: Mechanical Contract Manager\n\nLocation: Northampton, Northamptonshire\n\nSalary: £65,000 - £70,000\n\nBenefits: Company car or car allowance, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, private healthcare, company pension\n\nA national M&E Contractor is looking for a Mechanical Contract Manager to join their expanding management team in Northampton covering an area of Bedfordshire, Leicestershire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. The company provides M&E services to a wide range of clients and businesses across a multitude of sectors including Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Defence and MOJ. These projects are typically valued up to £10M.\n\nAs one of the management team you will be responsible to lead and oversee the projects from pre-construction to completion ensuring the projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.\n\nAs the Mechanical Contract Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:\n\n * Oversee and lead the preparation and execution of the mechanical element of large-scale commercial projects running simultaneously.\n\n * Co-ordinate with project management teams, sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.\n\n * Provide leadership to Mechanical Project Manager and Mechanical Engineers.\n\n * Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues that arise.\n\n * Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring solutions are implemented effectively.\n\n * Manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.\n\n * Maintain close working relationships with clients, stakeholders, sub-contractors and internal teams to manage progress, challenges, and resolutions.\n\nSuccessful applicants will have the following experience:\n\n * Previous experience within a leadership role and managing Mechanical Project Managers.\n\n * Proven track record of successfully managing complex mechanical project with values £10M+.\n\n * Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of mechanical systems, construction practices and industry standards.\n\n * Effective planning and project management skills, including planning, scheduling and resource allocation.\n\n * Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control and financial analysis.\n\n * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to achieve project goals.\n\n * The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.\n\n * Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.\n\nPlease contact Adam Brown on (phone number removed) / (phone number removed) for more information about this role or if you are interested in a new mechanical manager opportunity within the Building Services sector (Mechanical Contract Manager, Mechanical Project Manager, Senior Mechanical Project Manager, M&E Contract Manager, MEP Contract Manager)
