Purpose
To provide strategic leadership in the creation and delivery of an ambitious, insight‑led sales and marketing strategy that accelerates organisational growth and strengthens long‑term sustainability. This role will shape the Move More’s brand positioning, identify and pursue new revenue opportunities, and champion a culture of creativity and innovation. Working collaboratively across teams and with external partners, the postholder will lead high‑impact campaigns, compelling content development, and supporter‑focused fundraising initiatives that elevate the organisation’s profile, deepen engagement, and drive meaningful income growth in support of our mission.
Main Duties
* Lead the development and delivery of an insight‑driven sales, marketing, and fundraising strategy that supports organisational growth and long‑term sustainability.
* Identify emerging opportunities, trends, and audience insights to shape strategic direction and maximise impact.
* Translate organisational objectives into clear, measurable marketing and fundraising plans with defined priorities and outcomes.
* Oversee the creation and management of integrated campaign calendars, content plans, and multi‑channel communication strategies.
* Lead the development of high‑quality, creative content; including text, visual assets, and video storytelling which strengthens brand identity and supporter engagement.
* Drive innovative marketing and fundraising campaigns, PR activity, and events that expand reach, deepen relationships, and generate income.
* Act as a strategic partner to internal teams, ensuring alignment between marketing, fundraising, programme delivery, and organisational priorities.
* Build strong relationships with schools, community groups, funding partners, and supporters to enhance campaign delivery and brand visibility.
* Manage and nurture relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and suppliers to ensure high‑quality outputs and value for money.
* Analyse marketing, sales, and fundraising performance data to evaluate effectiveness, optimise campaigns, and inform future strategy.
* Introduce and champion a culture of testing, learning, and innovation across all communications and fundraising activity.
* Ensure all communications consistently reflect the organisation’s brand voice, values, and mission, maintaining high standards of accuracy, accessibility, and impact.
