Job Title: Head of Marketing

Location: UK or USA (Remote with periodic in-person collaboration)

Reporting to: CEO

Employment Type: Full-time (or Fractional / Contract considered for exceptional candidates)

Remuneration: Up to £60K + benefits + bonus

Role Purpose

Discovery ADR Group is seeking an experienced, commercially focused marketing leader to take full ownership of our marketing function and build a predictable, scalable engine that generates high-quality Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) across our core service lines.

This is a strategic and operational leadership role for a self-directed professional who can design, implement, and continuously optimise marketing activity without requiring tactical direction. The successful candidate will bring proven expertise in professional services marketing and will be accountable for delivering measurable pipeline growth.

This individual will define the strategy, implement the systems, manage the tools, execute campaigns, and establish marketing as a primary growth driver for Discovery's UK and USA expansion.

Primary Objective

To build and own a high-performing marketing function that delivers a consistent and growing volume of high-quality Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) aligned to Discovery's target markets, service lines, and commercial objectives.

Success in this role will be measured by:
5. Volume and quality of MQLs generated
6. Contribution to sales pipeline and revenue growth
7. Campaign performance and conversion rates
8. Marketing efficiency and ROI
9. Establishment of scalable, repeatable marketing systems
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Ownership
10. Define and own Discovery's marketing strategy aligned to business growth objectives
11. Develop and implement a structured MQL generation engine across multiple channels
12. Identify and prioritise target segments, industries, personas, and geographic markets
13. Establish clear positioning, messaging, and value propositions across service lines
14. Align marketing activity directly to commercial outcomes and pipeline generation
Campaign Strategy and Execution

Design, implement, and optimise multi-channel campaigns including:
15. LinkedIn organic and paid campaigns
16. Email outreach and nurture campaigns
17. Social selling programmes
18. Lead magnets and conversion assets
19. Content-driven campaigns
20. Account-based marketing initiatives
21. Website and landing page optimisation
22. CRM-driven marketing automation
Build repeatable campaign frameworks that can scale across the UK and USA.

Lead Generation and Pipeline Development
23. Own responsibility for delivering a steady flow of qualified MQLs
24. Design and manage marketing funnels from awareness to qualification
25. Optimise conversion rates at each stage of the funnel
26. Implement lead scoring and qualification frameworks
27. Ensure seamless integration between marketing and sales
Social Selling and Outreach Infrastructure

Design and manage scalable outbound marketing systems using tools such as:

29. Apollo
30. Aimfox
31. LinkedIn Sales Navigator
32. CRM and marketing automation platforms
Build structured outbound marketing systems that generate consistent engagement and meetings.

Marketing Systems and Infrastructure
33. Define and implement the marketing technology stack
34. Optimise CRM integration and data management
35. Establish tracking, reporting, and attribution systems
36. Implement marketing automation workflows
37. Ensure marketing activity is measurable and continuously optimised
Content and Authority Building

Define and oversee creation of:
38. Thought leadership content
39. Lead magnets and insight reports
40. Case studies and success stories
41. LinkedIn content strategies
42. Website content and conversion assets
Position Discovery as a credible authority in its markets.

USA Market Expansion Support

Support Discovery's expansion into the USA by:
43. Developing market-specific campaigns
44. Supporting US-based business development activity
45. Identifying and executing growth opportunities
46. Helping establish Discovery's brand presence in the USA
Performance Management and Reporting
47. Define KPIs aligned to pipeline and revenue growth
48. Track campaign performance and optimise continuously
49. Report on marketing performance and ROI
50. Provide clear commercial visibility into marketing effectiveness
Essential Experience and Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate proven experience in:
51. Marketing leadership roles within professional services organisations, such as:
* Recruitment companies
* Management consultancies
* Leadership development providers
* Sales training organisations
* HR consultancies
* Professional services firms
* Creating and delivering successful lead generation campaigns that produce measurable MQL volume
* Designing and managing marketing funnels and lead generation systems
* Social selling and outbound marketing using platforms such as:
o Instantly
o Apollo
o Aimfox
o LinkedIn Sales Navigator
o Email outreach platforms
o Working autonomously and owning full marketing responsibility
o Aligning marketing activity to revenue and commercial objectives
o Using CRM and marketing automation systems
o Strong commercial mindset and data-driven decision-making
Ideal International and Entreprenerial Experience
o Experience marketing professional services within the United States, including understanding of US buyer behaviour, market dynamics, and campaign approaches
o Experience supporting US-based business development teams and generating leads within US markets
o Experience helping organisations expand from the UK into the USA
o Experience marketing professional services in the United Kingdom and/or internationally
o Experience supporting international business development teams across multiple regions
o Experience generating leads across global markets, particularly the UK, Europe, and North America
o Experience working with organisations headquartered outside the USA.
o Experience scaling marketing functions in growth-stage businesses
o Experience building marketing infrastructure from the ground up
o Experience in recruitment, leadership development, management consultancy, or sales transformation environments
o Experience operating within businesses with international growth ambitions
