Position Description: Pega Software Engineer Responsibilities: PEGA CSA Certified. Knowledge of Telecom Domain. Must have 2-4 years of end to end PEGA experience including support area Experience supporting Fulfillment flows. Good problem solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication. Provide leadership for small teams. Take ownership of incident management and problem management issues. Must have experience in Production support, Maintenance and Release Management. Willing to work in production support. Ability to write SQL queries; trouble shoot and resolve issues related with scripts and queries. Good to have experience in application development and configuration, system integration, testing, migration. Exposure to ITIL/ITSM processes. Drive Technical resolutions for all application issues / challenges faced by the team. Ensure knowledge transfer and technical up skilling of teams. • Define ad-hoc processes as necessary • Develop business rules that work in conjunction with business processes to ensure a complete solution • Responsible for development and maintenance of Pega application & interfaces • Update and Maintain documents that includes guardrails and best practices by implementing necessary policies and also train others in the critical success factors of the policy • Assist with troubleshooting and debugging of Pega applications to clearly identify root cause of production level architecture issues and make practical suggestions with proof-based technical reasoning • Configure Web applications software to implement Screenpop Functionality for Anthem Call Centers • Concentrate on providing innovative solutions to more complex business needs • Actively take a leading role and participate on project teams in various project roles, including, but not limited to, Developer, Technical Lead and Project Manager, based upon level of experience • Effectively communicate with team members, customers, partners and management, including assisting with or conducting more complex technical walk-throughs, reporting project status, enabling vendor solutions and providing accurate and concise documentation • Responsible for design, development, and support of a PEGA PRPC based applications as specified by our business partners • Developing new features and problem identification and resolution • Implementing and assisting in designing analysis that will identify requirements related to people, processes and technology • Participate in implementing the technical infrastructure, including networks, platforms and servers, enterprise enabling, application enabling, security and operations management • Maintaining, tuning and repairing applications to keep them performing in accordance to technical and functional specifications • Assists in the formulation and definition of system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems • Performing system performance tests. • Designs, codes, tests, debugs document and maintains application programs • Integrating business databases, legacy systems, and web services. • Troubleshooting application issues, coding bugs, and bottlenecks • PEGA Certified & good telecom domain knowledge. • Good problem-solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication.
