This role is full-time and permanent, delivering Drama / Theatre Studies across Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A-Level. About the Role You will bring creativity and energy into Drama lessons, guiding students in performance, script work, devising, and theatre theory. The department is supportive and forward-looking, allowing you to develop your teaching style within a collaborative framework. You will be encouraged to lead extra-curricular drama clubs, produce school shows, and contribute to the school’s performing arts calendar. Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who: Holds QTS, PGCE, or equivalent qualification Demonstrates passion and subject knowledge in Drama / Theatre Studies Is ready to teach GCSE and/or A-Level Drama (or is eager to grow into that area) Is imaginative, organised, student-focused, and committed to improving their practice Has the legal right to work in the UK The School Located in a semi-rural area near Market Harborough, this academy is home to approximately 1,200 pupils aged 11–19. Drama is held in a dedicated performance suite with a black box theatre, lighting rig, and sound equipment.
