About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Area Service Delivery Manager to join a growing organisation within the construction and facilities management sector.
This role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of maintenance services across multiple sites, leading teams of multi-skilled engineers, and ensuring operational excellence. You will play a key role in improving performance, maintaining compliance, and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and mentor engineering teams across a designated area
Recruit, train, and develop engineers to enhance performance and capability
Drive productivity, efficiency, and service delivery standards
Conduct performance reviews and support development planning
Oversee and support capital projects within your region
Monitor KPIs and SLAs, using data to improve service performance
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety standards and regulations
Conduct site audits and regular engineer visits (minimum twice per year)
Manage stock control and approve timesheets
Act as the primary escalation point for site-related issues
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners
Identify and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies
About You
We are looking for a confident and experienced leader with a strong background in service delivery or facilities management.
Recognised trade qualification or FM management qualification
Minimum of 5 years' experience in service delivery or operations management
Proven experience managing teams across multiple locations
Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
