Job Description
* Directing all aspects of tax activities and compliance within the company.
* Preparing and reviewing corporate and individual tax returns.
* Advising on tax strategies and planning, optimising the companys financial performance.
* Communicating with tax authorities and providing needed information.
* Ensuring timely and accurate filing of all tax returns.
* Supervising, training, and mentoring members of the tax team.
* Keeping up to date with changes in tax law and regulations.
* Liaising with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure tax compliance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Tax Director should have:
* A strong academic background in Taxation, Accounting, or a related field (ACCA/CTA etc).
* Proven experience in a tax leadership role.
* Excellent understanding of tax regulations and legislation.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
