Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing our respiratory and allergy product portfolio within the North East of England. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and a proven track record in key account management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, hospital administrators, and procurement teams.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the respiratory and allergy market.
* Provide product training and support to healthcare professionals to ensure optimal use of our products.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business strategies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical affairs, and regulatory, to ensure alignment and execution of business plans.
* Prepare and deliver presentations to key accounts and stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account plans in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in key account management within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in respiratory or allergy products.
* Strong understanding of the NHS and the healthcare landscape in the North East of England.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
* Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
