Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Support Worker. In this role, you will provide practical and emotional support to individuals with a range of needs, including learning disabilities, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, or older age-related needs. Your support will help people live independently and achieve their personal goals
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide person-centred support to individual with complex needs.
* Encourage independence and support service users in accessing community services and social activities.
* Build trusting, positive relationships with individuals and their families.
* Keep accurate records of support provided and report any concerns to senior staff.
* Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for individuals.
* Follow safeguarding and health & safety policies at all times.
Requirements:
* Genuine passion for helping others and making a difference.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts as required.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience in a care or support role is essential
* A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
