We are currently seeking a Technical Coordinator to join our development team on a permanent basis. The purpose of this role is to assist within the in-house construction team in delivering standard and bespoke houses and flatted residential schemes in various building technologies to meet our company wide Strategy Target of building more than 12,500 homes by 2030 to the highest quality. With your technical background, you will need to be successful in delivering a number of our construction projects in line with legislation and best practice, you will report to the Technical Manager, providing the team with full technical support and guidance on live and legacy schemes. You will also be responsible for coordinating key information, engineering, and working drawing packages to enable any given residential development to be built as intended and to obtain all necessary technical approvals and permissions. Excellent communication skills will be required for this role as you will be Liaising with consultants and subcontractors for construction purposes, preparing and obtaining Building Regulations and other statutory approvals. We are looking for someone who is committed with a natural drive who can demonstrate our values and behaviours. The successful candidate will have extensive relevant experience in construction and have demonstrable experience in resolving technical issues in a timely manor. You will be able to quickly build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and be able to manage a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment. This position is based in our Eastleigh office and you will work in an agile manner covering all locations across our operating area's. A full clean driving licence and access to own transport is essential for this role, as some of our sites are remote from public transport.
